"We're not all c****!" Liam Gallagher explains viral teasing of young Man Utd fan

Liam Gallagher has explained the truth behind a video of him mocking a young Manchester United fan, insisting "we're not all c****!"

The Oasis star was present at Wembley as his team, Manchester City, claimed the FA Cup with victory over their rivals. Ilkay Gundogan scored both goals as Pep Guardiola's side won 2-1 with the German bagging the winner in the second-half after his early opener.

Gallagher celebrated wildly as City retook the lead on 51 minutes - and then wound up a young fan wearing a United top who was sat in front of him. The supporters then turned around and gave it back to Gallagher, who has clarified that he and the young man were acquaintances.

He said on social media: "The young lad I was apparently antagonising was my mates kid who I was consoling he’s a Utd fan I love and adore him we’re not all c**** CTID LG x".

Liam and brother Noel are both huge City fans with at least one of them almost always present at major games. They could be celebrating the Treble too in a weeks time with those on the blue half of Manchester now just 90 minutes away from the iconic achievement.

Currently their neighbours, United, are the only English team to ever achieve the feat having done so in dramatic fashion back in 1999. City now have only the Champions League to win after regaining their Premier League title and adding the FA Cup.

City saw off Real Madrid in dominant fashion to make the final in Istanbul, where Inter Milan will lie in wait. Guardiola's men go in as heavy favourites as they look to win the competition for the first time whilst their Catalan boss is eyeing a first victory since 2011.

Guardiola said after their Wembley victory: "We can now talk about the Treble. Of course we still have to win the Champions League. We performed so well for our city and our fans. They follow man to man so tight and we didn't expect them to defend so narrow. We found more spaces in the second half. Tomorrow and the next day they can have off. We've then got three or four sessions to train for Inter Milan. We'll travel on Thursday morning after training."

Kevin De Bruyne meanwhile dismissed any talk of pressure, adding: “I don’t feel like there’s any pressure. We’ve had a great season already and I think we’re going to try and be as ready as best we can be and we’ll go to Istanbul and play another great game. It’s been an incredible season and hopefully we can make it even better.”
