Jurgen Klopp says the progress of Harvey Elliott and Stefan Bajcetic won't change Liverpool's thinking for the summer transfer window.
Elliott is the only player to feature in all of the Reds' 38 games this season while Bajcetic has emerged as an important player for Klopp in recent weeks, starting eight times in total since the turn of the year.
Bajcetic's performances have almost certainly cemented his place in the first-team squad for next season but Klopp said the rise of the Spanish youth international will not deter him from bolstering his midfield options this summer as links to a host of central midfielders including Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham continue.

With Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner all into the final few months of their respective contracts at Liverpool, a midfield overhaul is anticipated and Klopp says the form of Elliott and Bajcetic won't play a part in the strategy for what could be a big summer for the club.
"No, we know exactly what we needed and that didn't change," said Klopp. "But I wouldn't say when we started our plans in, I don't know, September or October, that Stefan was necessarily involved in that but of course he is now. It would be crazy if he wasn't.
"Harvey always was and always will be. He is a top player and he is really happy. He had to improve slightly defensively but offensively his contributions are extremely interesting for the football team in the position he plays.
"He has a good overview with good technique so that has nothing to do with (our plans). We need players. We cannot go with three midfielders for a season."
Klopp added: "So I am not sure I understood 100% right, does (your question) mean we won't do anything because they are here? We count on them definitely, of course (for next season).
"It's good and there's a lot to come from the boys, both of them, it's good. We have other young players here so it is now, as I said last week, in this season it's the first time last week that five players were not in the squad who should be, but because of the numbers we have, that's the situation.
"We have changed a lot and that is important and I don't believe in coincidences and all of a sudden we play better because the boys are back again (from injury) and not only the two (up front). We always had three strikers and now we have five, so we can change, share minutes and stuff like this. So that is a massive, massive improvement.
"And then in midfield it is pretty much the same. That is very, very helpful and pretty much the most important thing, so we count on them (Bajcetic and Elliott) but that does not mean we cannot have a look in the summer."
