'We'll see if he even lives to 57' - Conor McGregor given stark health warning over party 'lifestyle'

Conor McGregor has been issued a stark health warning over his party lifestyle.

McGregor, 34, has been in the limelight for years and has rubbed shoulders with big names at various VIP events around the world. The UFC fighter is estimated to have a fortune worth €100million and is known for indulging in a lavish lifestyle.

However, this party "lifestyle" could lead him to an early grave, a WWE veteran has warned, the Irish Mirror report. Paul Heyman said: "I would like to see if Conor McGregor at 57 is still thriving at the very top.

"We'll see if he's even relevant at 57. We'll see if he even lives to 57 with his lifestyle now. I'm not a grandfather, but I appreciate the fact that I'm old enough to be one."

The Dubliner has successfully promoted his own brands of whiskey and stout. McGregor and Heyman have history, with Heyman labelling Conor a “Roman Reigns wannabe” in reference to American professional wrestler Reigns.

Heyman claimed that McGregor responded to that comparison by saying: “Be careful, grandpa, I'll break your jaw in three places.”

Heyman told BT Sport: “He gave a shout-out to himself, of course, he did. The ultimate self-promoter is Conor McGregor, you know, standing nine feet tall and weighing 155 pounds."

McGregor has been out of action since his leg was broken during a July 2021 fight in Las Vegas. He has been spotted at some of the world's most popular holiday spots as he continues his recovery ahead of an expected headline return, possibly later this year.

Despite not being in the ring since 2021, McGregor's fortune has risen by €945,000 every nine seconds recently, according to sports site OLBG. He was named as the world's highest earning athlete per minute last December.

That figure amounts to €6.3million for every minute – more even than the world’s most expensive footballer Neymar (31), who generated a record €222m transfer fee from Barcelona to PSG in 2017.

A spokesperson for OLBG said: “Our research and further findings revealed Ireland’s Conor McGregor was the highest-earning athlete per minute in 2022. He earned $6,600,000 per minute and took only nine seconds of action to earn $1m.”
