Manchester United fans agree that Amad should be in and around the first team next season after starting his first game for the Ivory Coast.
The attacker played 74 minutes, helping his country to a 2-0 win over Comoros in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying on Tuesday. The 20-year-old has looked impressive during his loan with Sunderland.
Amad has started 23 of his 32 appearances for the Black Cats and has found the net nine times. Boss Tony Mowbray has often sung the praises of the talent, who has also bagged three assists.

The striker now has four caps for his country having been utilised as a substitute in his previous three outings. Amad arrived at Old Trafford from Atalanta in 2021 and has so far played nine first-team games for the Reds.
He grabbed his first United goal in the Europa League against AC Milan two months after his arrival before being loaned out to Rangers amid a lack of game time the following January.
A tricky spell in Scotland saw him return to his parent club and Erik ten Hag brought him out to feature in United’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia.
His loan move to Sunderland has seen Amad regain his form and confidence and some United fans on Twitter are calling for him to be brought into Ten Hag’s plans next season.
@ebz7i: Amad needs to come back and replace Antony.
@UnitedMCK: We have too much talent in this team.
@yoofnited: Of course it depends how well he takes to these chances, but [Hannibal Mejbri] and Amad are the two players currently on loan that I'd be disappointed to see away from United's first team next season. I thoroughly believe they're physically, mentally and technically ready to make an impact.
@kishpod: He can be our tikitaka plug and play. We just have to take the risk to build the play around him. Even Sunderland fans reckon he will get a foothold in United’s first-team set-up next season.
@shanehagan24: Amad will be in and around the United first team/squad next season and he’s 20, already played and scored in Europe for them. We both know Amad is a bigger talent.
