Heading into the 2022 NBA All-Star week festivities, it was pretty evident that the Boston Celtics’ players minds were already in Cleveland, Ohio when they faced the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden on Feb. 16.
The Celtics were caught off guard by a determined Pistons squad that had come to play, while Boston’s rosters never managed to regain their composure, their league-leading nine-game winning streak snapped as a result. Now, having gotten their revenge on the road in Detroit, the Celtics fielded questions after their 113 – 104 win over the Pistons, and star forward Jaylen Brown shed some light on what the difference between the two games was in his eyes.
“I’ll give credit to Detroit they came out and played another good game against us,” began the Georgia native.
