Chocolate tubs are a must-have for the festive period - and with Christmas only a matter of weeks away, Brits will be wanting to stock up ahead of the big rush.
But out of the top fan favourites - Celebrations, Roses, Heroes and Quality Street - which tub provides the best value for money?
We counted the number of chocolates in each tub, assessed flavour ratios and compared prices across each retailer to help you decide where to shop for yours this Christmas.
Taking the number one spot with the most chocolates per tub was the 650g tub of Celebrations, which offered 71 treats in total.
While all the other tubs weighed 50g less, the Celebrations box still provided the best value in terms of product to gram ratio.
But when we looked at the number of flavours on offer, our ratios were far from equal.
Our Celebrations tub contained 13 Milky Ways, 12 Snickers and 12 Mars bars.
But there were only around half as many Galaxy and Twix bars.
The box also contained just eight Maltesers and eight Bounties - making Milky Way the most common chocolate for this particular tub.
Quality Street had the second highest number of chocolates, offering 64 treats in a 600g tub.
But again, the number of each flavour varied - as our box contained nine Fudge bars compared with just four Green Triangles and four Green Choc Blocks.
The tub also contained seven of each of the Orange Cremes, Strawberry Cremes and Toffee Fingers.
There were only six of each of the Hazelnut in Caramel and Toffee Penny’s.
Compared with Celebrations, Quality Street tubs offer much more variety, with 11 different chocolate flavours to choose from compared with eight in Celebrations.
Next in line was our 600g box of Heroes, offering 9 flavour varieties with 63 chocolates all together.
Heroes turned out to be the most unequal when it came to the number of flavours on offer.
While the tub was stuffed with 11 Dairy Milks, there were just four Caramel Dairy Milks and two Twirl Bars.
There were also nine Chocolate Eclairs, eight Double Deckers and Creme Egg Twisted Bars, seven Crunchie bars and just six Fudge bars.
Both Heroes and Roses offer nine different chocolate flavours compared with the eight in Celebrations and 11 in Quality Street.
And in last place was our 600g Roses tub, which contained just 56 chocolates in total.
Shockingly, there were only three signature Roses Truffles in the entire tub.
But compared with all of the other boxes, Roses offered the most equal ratios in terms of flavours.
There were eight Golden Barrels, along with seven Dairy Milks, Strawberry Dreams and Hazel Whirls.
The rest of the chocolates had a fairly even split of five or six per flavour.
A spokesperson for Nestle said: "We balance our Quality Street selection by grouping the sweets into three categories that we know our consumers love: Fruits; Toffees and Fudge; and Nuts, Chocolates and Caramels, with each making up roughly one third of the total.
"We know that Quality Street fans feel very passionately about their own particular favourites, so we ensure there is something for everyone within the mix.
"Consumers also have the option to create their own mix – such as a tin that’s packed with nothing but Green Triangles, by visiting our website."
The Mirror has contacted Cadbury and Mars for comment.
What supermarket is selling chocolate tubs for the cheapest prices?
The cheapest tubs we’ve come across are the Celebrations and Quality Street tubs at Aldi, which are currently on offer for £3.49 each.
At Morrisons and Asda, all of the tubs can be bought for £4 each.
While at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, each will set you back an extra pound at £5 per tub.
