This weekend Brits will be raising a glass to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and her 70 years on the throne - or to a bumper four-day Bank Holiday weekend.
Pretty much every food and drink business in the land is trying to get a piece of the action, bringing out royally-themed items and limited edition products.
And of course booze companies have been leading the way and there have been countless special champagnes, cavas and proseccos on the shelves.
So we thought would try out one of the pricier bottles against those on offer from our favourite supermarkets to see if it's worth splashing the cash. We opted for Virgin Wines' special Jubilee Brut, with a big old £39 price tag.
After decking out the office with bunting and a Union Jack, we also popped open bottles from Asda, Tesco, Aldi, M&S and Sainsbury's to compare.
Of course we wanted to be responsible - and we also wanted to avoid getting into trouble for drinking six bottles during work hours - so we roped in a few colleagues to help us try the different brands.
I'll be very honest, none of us are fizz experts however we're all big lovers of the drink and have drunk enough of it over the years to have some pretty strong thoughts - and there was a clear winner.
Virgin Wines' Platinum Jubilee Limited Editing Sparkling Brut - £39
We went straight in with the good stuff, and while the fancy label was lovely we were left a bit disappointed.
This Brut has been made especially for the Jubilee, and the small batch means there are only 500 bottles on sale.
It was a really lovely drink and it was nice and light, but we all agreed we probably wouldn't splash out the £39 again.
"It's a very good day wine. If you had it on Jubilee day, you could drink it for breakfast."
"It's not worth that much, that's more expensive than Whispering Angel!"
Someone thought they could taste raisins, but the collective thought was that it's appley (technical, foody term) and someone even compared to Appletizer.
"It's too light and frothy for me. I could tell it's an English wine."

M&S - £10 but currently on offer for £8
Marks and Spencer's offering had a great pop, the kind that would make everyone at a family barbecue cry "wheeey" in a slightly annoying but excitable way . In fact, someone in our group commented: "You'll have to warn Granny before you open that one!"
It's got a lovely taste and was almost everyone in the group's favourite, and it only took 30 seconds for someone to point out it's not just prosecco, it's M&S prosecco.
"It does what it says on the tin, it's a crowd pleaser. It's not too sweet but not too dry."
"This one tastes like the prosecco you drink at bottomless brunches, but better."
"It feels more like a party! You would drink it on New Year's Eve."
"It goes down easily. It's a reliable bottle. You could take it to someone's house and they would be pretty happy."

Asda - £5.99
It's fair to say this was our least favourite of the group, to the point that there was actually some left at the end.
Even the cheap price tag couldn't save it, and I would rather pay an extra pound at one of the other supermarkets.
However, we all agreed that it would be the perfect fizz for a Bucks Fizz or if you wanted to add a bit of Aperol (which let's be honest, isn't a bad thing).
"It tastes like it would give me a headache. I feel like I've been here before."
"It's extremely cheap and I didn't have high hopes - and I was right. If I was served this at a party I'd be swapping to a beer for my next drink. Sorry Asda"
"It's very pale in colour. It's not for me, it's far too sweet."

Sainsbury's - £11
This one got a mixed reaction from the team. It was a lot sweeter, which was a bonus for some but left others disappointed.
However most people still preferred it to the £39 bottle.
"I like it, I think it's just the right amount of sweet. There's definitely an aftertaste but it's not unpleasant."
"You can't drink it fast, it's not an easy drink - which is probably a good thing."
"It's almost floral but it's not very fizzy. It's a bit too sweet for me.
"I much prepared it to the fancy one, especially for £11."

Aldi - £5.99
This was far from our favourite BUT the price earns it a lot of extra points.
And we all listed it a lot higher than the Asda bottle even though it comes in at the same bargain price.
Definitely a good one if you're having to buy lots of bottles for a big Jubilee party.
"It tastes a lot like the one I drink from the corner shop."
"It's not sweet enough."
"I like it because it's not too sweet, it's not too bubbly and it's got a nice flavour."
"It's not offensive, it's definitely worth the price."
"It's worlds apart from the Asda one which is the same price."
"You can't tell it's cheap because it's not really sweet. I would give it to fancy relatives as they wouldn't guess the bargain price."

Tesco - £9.50, £7 with a Clubcard
This one was also a hit with our dedicated taste team - and one person even listed it as their favourite.
"I quite like it, it's not my favourite but it's a good drink."
"It's very smooth, dangerously smooth. You could easily drink a lot of it."
"Out of all of them, it tastes like what prosecco should taste like. It
"It's very fresh, it's a real crowd-pleaser."
