DC United manager and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has claimed that Leeds United could start to put Arsenal's Premier League title hopes under pressure as they travel down to the Emirates Stadium today.
The Gunners are after their first top-flight title since the 2003/04 season but face a tough run-in for the rest of the season, with their gap to second-place Manchester City standing at eight points.
But with Pep Guardiola's side having a game in hand over Mikel Arteta's men, that gap could be cut down to five points or even fewer by next weekend's fixtures.

Leeds are also in their own big fight this season, as they try and climb as far away from the relegation zone as possible and thanks to the 4-2 win over Wolves, they're one step closer to safety.
Following their sudden turnaround in form thanks to the addition of new manager Javi Gracia, Rooney believes that the last 10 games could prove tricky for the Gunners - and that starts with Leeds this weekend.
"I hope Arsenal do win it [but] I think City will pip them to it. It’s going to be intriguing,” Rooney said earlier this week. "I think because Arsenal have not been in this position for a long time, and it can be a lot of pressure to go with that.
"Once you start getting into the last 10 games of the season that’s when the real pressure starts. And so I’m really interested to see if they can sustain what they’ve been doing all season."
