Wayne Pivac has denied any specific talks over his future have taken place with his Welsh Rugby Union bosses this week.
The Wales coach is under pressure after his team fell to a humiliating 13-12 defeat to Georgia in Cardiff, with pundits and fans calling for him to leave his role.
No decision on Pivac's future is set to take place until after the autumn, when the WRU will review the performance of the entire campaign - like they do for any other. However, ahead of a crucial autumn finale against Australia, Pivac insisted there had been no talk specifically surrounding his job security since Saturday night.

"Just the usual," he said after naming his team to face the Wallabies. "We have weekly contact in every camp and this week has been no different.
"It’s just the standard, focusing on the here and now. We review campaigns at the end of the campaign, not during. So it’s just standard things discussing what we’re doing this week and how we can improve the performance - normal conversations we’d have."
As was the case on Saturday night following the shock loss to the Georgians, Pivac insisted it was for others to decide whether his three years in charge of Wales was to come to an end. However, he remained adamant that the players and management had responded positively following the surprising setback.
"Other people make those decisions," he said. "What we do internally is make sure we prepare the best we can.
"I can’t get sidetracked by those sort of things. At the end of the day, it’s the professional environment we’re in.

"We know there’s a lot at stake, clearly. We’re here rolling our sleeves up this week to try and get the result everyone wants.
"It’s very, very disappointing to be in this position. As head coach, the responsibility lies with me for a lot of the decision-making. I don’t shy away from that. What we do is look at what we can control.
"That’s been every day we come in this week, maximising how we get the team right mentally and physically. That’s certainly been the focus of everyone this week.
"Players have been very honest in reviews and gone out and been physical in training."
Asked if it was difficult to plan ahead amid the pressing concerns, Pivac said he was heading to France on Sunday to help sort out Wales preparations for the World Cup next year.
"There’s always the big picture in the background," he stated. "Martyn Williams has been in France first few days of this week. Things go on, there’s been a big conference in London the last few days for CEOs and coaches that aren’t involved in matches this week.
"Things go on for World Cup planning in the background. We’re off to France on Sunday. Nothing changes in that respect."
