Wayne Lineker put on a bizarre tribute to the Queen featuring a parade of scantily-dressed woman in military-style outfits. On Thursday Buckingham Palace announced that Elizabeth II had died at the age of 96.
The nation has since gone into mourning as politicians and celebrities across the world remember the monarch who served for 70 years. One tribute hosted by businessman Wayne and his co-owners at O Beach Ibiza stood out.
A video of the moment shared on Twitter shows a line of lingerie-clad women marching through a packed crowd onto a stage. Their outfits, with bearskin hats, bikini tops decorated with pretend medals and red jackets, appear to mimic the uniforms worn by the King's Guard regiment.

After making their way to the stage to join Wayne and his friend, the women stood to attention while an address was made to the crowd. Wayne's co-owner told revellers: "Are you all having a great day? We're all having an amazing day today. But, myself and Wayne and other business partners are all British businessmen and we could not let this day go by without speaking about yesterday's events in the UK.
He added: "I think the majority of this crowd here today are from the UK if I'm right, yeah. It doesn't matter if you're British, Irish, Scottish, Italian, Spanish – wherever you are in the world I think you will all appreciate that one of the greatest, iconic women who's ever lived this world left our planet yesterday. Lets hear it for Queen Elizabeth II!"
The crowd then cheered before they were shown a giant inflatable London bus and a Mary Poppins suspended in the air. The line up of women then saluted while the national anthem played out accompanied by a drummer as the crowd joined in.
Wayne, 60, the younger brother of footballing legend Gary, 61, reportedly shared the video on his social media, but later deleted it. But it was circulated by Twitter users.
@adaliabooks gasped: "Wow... I've seen a few odd tributes, but that really takes the biscuit." @_rachelbrogan tweeted: "Too far what have I just watched?" @Abboir_ asked: "What on earth have I just watched?" And @princessjack said: "It is so weird. I have so many questions."
