New Delhi: The Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday announced that the by-polls for the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency will be held on November 13.
The election was necessitated after Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, vacated his seat. Rahul Gandhi had fought on two seats in Lok Sabha polls held earlier this year. Later, he chose Rae Bareli.

After Rahul vacated the Wayanad seat, the Congress announced that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra would make her poll debut from Wayanad.
Results on Nov 23
The counting of votes will be held on November 23, along with Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly polls.
