Families hightailed it to Almondell and Calderwood Country Park last week to to celebrate the end of Fish in the Community initiative, run by the Forth Rivers Trust.
The kids said goodbye to their fish and waved them off to their new life in the River Almond.
There were games and activities too for everyone to get involved along with a hunt for bugs and beasties from the River.
A spokesperson for the park said: “Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the release of the fish at Almondell and Calderwood Country Park.
“The weather was lovely and we had a very successful day!
“The kids enjoyed waving goodbye to their fish and listening to fascinating information about rivers and wildlife.”
Forth Rivers Trust also provided a range of activities for the release, which the kids absolutely loved.
