Lewis Lazarus might be the biggest Rams fan around. He lives in Santa Monica and has been a Rams fan since he was a kid, recalling watching games when he was just 12 years old.
Now 92, Lazarus unfortunately had to retire his season tickets due to his limited mobility, but he still catches every Rams game on TV. And to reward him for his long-standing fandom of a team that’s moved around several times, Lazarus had his living room upgraded by Xzibit and Amazon.
Amazon shared a video showing the transformation of Lazarus’ apartment, which is now complete with signed memorabilia, a new TV and comfortable couches. Xzibit even surprised him with a signed photo of his favorite player, Elroy “Crazy Legs” Hirsch.
Check out the video and see just how excited Lazarus was to see his new place.
Lazarus considers the Rams his family now that most of his immediate family has passed away. He used to watch games with his parents, sister and son, something he enjoyed each Sunday.
Though he no longer attends Rams games, he proudly proclaims that he’s seen them play more than anyon.
“Are you kidding me?” he told the Los Angeles Times earlier this year. “I’ve seen more Rams games than anybody.”
There’s no fan more deserving of this fan cave upgrade than Lazarus, who has been through it all with the Rams – from the low points to their Super Bowl LVI win in February.
Here’s a before and after photo of his apartment, as well as a shot of Xzibit giving Lazarus his photo of Hirsch.
