At the start of the offseason, the Golden State Warriors made headlines when they acquired Chris Paul in a blockbuster trade with the Washington Wizards. To land the veteran All-Star point guard, the Warriors traded a package of players and picks centered around Jordan Poole.
Following his exit from Golden State, Poole linked up with another former Warrior star over the offseason for a workout. Poole recently got some shots up during a workout with two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant.
Photographer Jordan Jiminez shared a video on Instagram of the pair of former Warriors working out together.

Despite never playing together in Golden State, both Durant and Poole won championships as members of the Warriors alongside Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green.
After leaving the Warriors for Brooklyn in the 2019 offseason, Durant was recently traded to the Phoenix Suns at the 2023 trade deadline to link up with Devin Booker.
During Poole’s four-year stretch with the Warriors, Poole averaged 15.8 points on 42.1% shooting from the field to go along with 3.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds over 266 regular season games in Golden State. Poole was originally drafted by the Warriors in the first round of the 2019 NBA draft out of Michigan.
