Ohio State takes the next step on what it hopes is a special 2022 season when it plays host to in-state Toledo on Saturday night. It’s a weird night game, but one that fans and players are excited to play and continue to show improvement.
Another guy that’s excited about the opportunity to play in the ‘Shoe is Toledo head coach Jason Candle. He has his team sitting at 2-0 and looking to shock the world this weekend. He knows it’s a huge challenge, but not shying away from the moment.
Candle met with the local media in Toledo earlier this week to preview the matchup with the Buckeyes, and we always like to keep tabs on what the opposing coach says about Ohio State before and after the matchup.
If you too are interested, we’ve got the video of Candle’s press conference thanks to the local Toledo affiliate WTOL’s YouTube Channel. If you are interested, watch below as Candle displays respect for Ohio State, acknowledges the challenge, provides an update on what he thinks of the talent the Rockets will be facing on Saturday, and more.
Keep the yard work done and the errands taken care of during the day because the game vs. Toledo is set to kick off at night at 7 p.m. ET on Fox.
