Watch unseen moment Luke McCowan laps up Daizen Maeda's new Celtic chant

Luke McCowan appeared to love Daizen Maeda's new chant after Celtic's 2-0 win over Hibernian yesterday afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers' men booked their place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with a relatively comfortable victory over the Leith side.

Maeda opened the scoring in the first half before Adam Idah finished the job late in the second.

When the Japanese attacker broke the deadlock, The Champs' 'Tequila' rang out around Celtic Park, with the crowd shouting 'Maeda' in unison when the chorus reached a crescendo.

The same tune was then played as the players completed their traditional full-time lap of honour.

As the TV camera panned to midfielder McCowan, he couldn't resist joining in with the chant, as Jota and Auston Trusty later did, too:

McCowan was introduced for the final 15 minutes of the game and brought added energy to Celtic's play.

He combined well with fellow substitute Yang Hyun-jun to set up Idah for the sealer late on.

The Parkhead side now have a full week of preparation in the offing before they welcome city rivals Rangers to Glasgow's east end on Sunday.

Manager Brendan Rodgers says his players will be up for the challenge: "We will be ready for the demands of that game," he said.

"I said before, I'd never had the team really like that [referring to the 3-0 loss at Ibrox in January] in any of those games.

"So, the demands that are needed to play in that game, we will be ready for them next week, like we weren't in the last game."
