Watch unseen John Souttar reaction to Cyriel Dessers' miss vs Hibs

John Souttar was visibly frustrated as Cyriel Dessers blazed an effort off-target for Rangers against Hibs on Saturday.

The Ibrox club faltered to yet another defeat as David Gray's men emerged from Govan 2-0 victors.

Dylan Levitt opened the scoring early on as his strike from the edge of the box squirmed past Jack Butland.

Rangers looked to get themselves level as the first half progressed.

Striker Dessers had a fair few opportunities, registering four shots on goal throughout the opening 40 minutes of the game. Only one effort called Hibs goalkeeper Jordan Smith into action.

In reaction to a particular miss from the Nigerian frontman, central defender Souttar was visibly frustrated:

Rangers have now lost their last five home games and conceded two in each of their last six league matches.

Barry Ferguson's men must rally ahead of the visit of Athletic Club to Ibrox on Thursday evening in the Europa League.

The Basque outfit are set to miss key defender Yeray Alvarez for the first leg of the quarter-final.

Rangers midfielder Connor Barron, however, is finding it difficult to consider the game after his side's loss to Hibs.

He told Rangers TV: "It's hard to look at that right now.

"We'll be confident going into it, but we have to start doing it on a Saturday and Sunday because that's our bread and butter.

"We need a reaction between now and Thursday, not just on Thursday, but it needs to be every time we step over that white line."
