Carson Beck was a fan favorite last year, with many Georgia fans pleading with UGA head coach Kirby Smart to give the youngster a shot.
Of course those cries proved to be worthless, as Stetson Bennett would eventually lead the Bulldogs to the promise land for the first time since 1980 with Beck on the sidelines.
Beck did, however, see action in multiple games last season, putting up rather pedestrian numbers during his redshirt freshman year. He completed 10/23 passes for 176 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
The former 4-star out of Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida is committed to working on his craft, and while the rest of the student-body at UGA was vacationing for spring break, Beck was back home in Jacksonville working with his quarterback trainer to get better.
Quarterback trainer Denny Thompson posted a video of Beck working out in Jacksonville, saying Beck “spent his whole spring break in the lab and absolutely crushed it.”
