Former Celtic midfielder David Turnbull was given a nod to his time in Glasgow when he came on as a substitute in Cardiff City's 2-0 loss to Sheffield United last night.
The 25-year-old joined the Welsh side over a year ago after three and a half seasons at Parkhead.

Turnbull made 134 appearances during his Celtic spell, scoring 31 goals and assisting 25.
He was a shining light in an otherwise dark 2020/21 campaign, and truly came to the fore during Ange Postecoglou's first season at the club.
Things haven't gone as swimmingly as Turnbull may have hoped since leaving Celtic. Indeed, he has proved to be a bit-part player for Cardiff.
As he was introduced last night with just over 20 minutes to go, the commentator dubbed him a 'former Celtic serial winner':

Turnbull won six trophies in his three and a half years with Celtic: "It goes back to the summer, knowing where David was at in his thinking," said Brendan Rodgers on the midfielder's exit in January of 2024.
"Obviously, he was in the last year of his contract, so I felt it was best for us and for him to get out and play. He has done well here. It hasn’t worked out quite how he wanted it to, but he is a good guy, he worked very hard, and now he will have the chance to have a permanent place to play."
