WATCH: Trey McBride wraps up NFC win in pass-catching competition

The Pro Bowl Games began Thursday evening in Orlando with skills competitions. One of them was the “Satisfying Catch” competition, where three players from each conference had to show off their pass-catching skills.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride was one of the three NFC participants along with Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson and Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson going against the AFC’s three participants of Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase, Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. and Raiders tight end Brock Bowers.

To win, each trio was timed as to how quickly they could make three one-handed catches, make one catch with mascot gloves on and then make a diving catch. If the diving catch was not made, the player had to do an agility run.

The NFC won with a time of 1:57 and McBride was the last to go. Check out how he did:

None of the players in either conference was able to complete the diving catch.

It was a good showing by McBride and the NFC squad.
