Heading into the 2021 NFL draft, many expected the Denver Broncos to target a quarterback at the No. 9 overall pick. Detractors sent plenty of criticism their way when they passed on Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, but after watching Pat Surtain II’s rookie season, it’s safe to say they nailed the pick.
