Watch: Titans legend Derrick Henry scores touchdown for Ravens in NFL opener

Even though Derrick Henry no longer plays for the Tennessee Titans, it would be difficult to find a more beloved player in the franchise’s history.

A second-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft, Henry spent his first eight seasons in Nashville, rushing for 9,502 yards and 90 touchdowns. Henry averaged 4.7 yards per rush during his time in Tennessee.

Henry led the NFL in rushing twice, including going over 2,000 yards in 2020, when he was named first-team All-Pro and NFL AP Offensive Player of the Year.

It’s safe to say that Henry did enough through eight seasons to almost ensure a future spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, his time with the Titans ended this year when he departed via unrestricted free agency.

Henry signed with the Baltimore Ravens and debuted in the Thursday night opener against the Kansas City Chiefs, doing what he does best: Scoring a touchdown.

How fitting is it that Henry scored the first touchdown of the 2024 NFL season?
