Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis took the NFL world by storm after his incredible performance against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8.
The Kentucky product completed 65.5 percent of his passes (19-of-29) for 238 yards and four touchdowns, three of which went to DeAndre Hopkins.
Fans and media outlets all across the country took notice, and he became one of the most popular topics of conversation over the last few days.
However, those weren’t the only people who were impressed by Levis’ NFL debut. Jeffery Simmons and the Titans’ defense certainly appeared to appreciate what the young quarterback was doing last Sunday.
NFL Films mic’d up the All-Pro defender, which gave us an opportunity to hear what Simmons had to say on the sideline during Levis’ big day.
After the first touchdown pass to Hopkins, Simmons emphatically jumped out of his seat and yelled, “that’s damn Will Levis, man!” At one point, he also goes up to Arden Key and states, “I told you!”
Jeffery Simmons after the 1st TD pass:
“That’s damn Will Levis, man.
No, I told you (To Arden Key).”Something tells me Jeff has probably seen Levis do some of that shit to them on scout team lol

Obviously, this is pure speculation, but it seems as if they’ve had previous talks about what they’ve seen out of Levis in practice, considering they’ve regularly faced him on the scout team.
After the third touchdown pass to DHop, the Mississippi State product once again stated, “I told y’all. That [expletive] is a quarterback” before concluding the video by saying “that damn Will can play, man.”
It’s clear just by watching this video that the play of the Titans’ rookie quarterback has given the entire team the spark it desperately needed.
We’ll see if Levis can keep in going in a tough Week 9 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
