Watch: Titans’ Aaron Brewer was mic’d up in Week 2

Tennessee Titans center Aaron Brewer has been a steady presence along the offensive line over the last few years.

The 2020 undrafted free agent started his career as a reliable backup and seemingly always did his job well whenever his number was called despite his physical limitations (6-foot-1, 271 pounds).

Since then, Brewer has become a full-time starter who eventually made the transition from guard to center prior to this season.

While Brewer is undoubtedly a notable name within the Titans community at this point, we’re finally starting to see more glimpses of his personality now that he’s taken on a leadership role as the brains of the entire offensive line.

The Texas State product was recently mic’d up and it’s clear that he wanted his group to “set the tone.”

Brewer, who was named a team captain for the first time, is very vocal on the field — and for good reason, as he’s transitioning into more of a leadership role in 2023 while also seamlessly transitioning from guard to center.

The Titans center has rare athleticism for an interior lineman, and he’s arguably the best finisher of the group because of it, combined with his scrappy mentality.

Being tasked with replacing Ben Jones was never going to be an easy thing for anybody, but Brewer has seemingly been up to the task thus far.
