Watch this superb history-making Celtic goal from the best seat in the house

It wasn't to be for Elena Sadiku's Celtic FC Women's side on Matchday Three of their UEFA Women's Champions League, when Chelsea triumphed 2-1 at Celtic Park.

Drawn in the same group at Real Madrid, FC Twente and, of course, the reigning WSL champions, getting anything at this level was always going to be a tall order – but the Hoops nevertheless put in a shift to be proud of on Wednesday night.

Murphy Agnew's strike on 22 minutes fired her side in front, before a quick-fire Chelsea double from Maiku Hamano and Ashley Lawrence between the 28th and 32nd minute was enough to secure three points for the visitors.

Still, the Celtic striker's effort made history for the club, becoming the first-ever Celtic FC Women's goal to be scored in the Champions League.

Having fastened onto a deft through ball on the counter attack, Agnew dinked the neatest of touches beyond the Chelsea goalkeeper before celebrating in style.
