The Houston Texans’ selection of C.J. Stroud with the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft is sure to improve the team’s trajectory next season. He has all the tools to make Texans fans drool over his film until training camp starts.
With one of the best highlight reels in recent history, Stroud has shown an ability to consistently score, move the chains, and avoid turnovers during his time at Ohio State, where he led one of the best offenses in the country.
Nick Caserio and his team in Houston’s front office will need Stroud to lead the Texans to victory with consistency next season, especially after their surprise trade-up to the third-overall pick later in the first round.
