A police chase that unfolded on the M1 and reached speeds of 155mph will feature in tonight's episode of Traffic Cops.
The chase was conducted by Derbyshire's roads policing unit as officers followed the vehicle in question.
PC Karl Jackson began tracking the car, but his cover was soon blown and speeds began to rocket.
The Channel 5 show's producers say it's not long before PC Jackson has clocked 155mph, DerbyshireLive reports.
The clip shows the chase just prior to this point as PC Jackson says: "This is failing to stop. It's 100 miles an hour."
He and other units give chase but it’s only with the help of a lorry driver cutting off an escape route that the officers are eventually able to bring the pursuit to a dramatic end.
The full episode can be seen tonight at 8pm on Channel 5.
The show, which is now in its seventh series, is following traffic officers based at Derbyshire police's Ripley headquarters.
