Kansas City Chiefs champs Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are set to face off with Golden State Warriors stars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson for the ultimate NFL vs. NBA bragging rights. They’ll settle the debate on the golf course for Capitol One’s “The Match” at Wynn Las Vegas on Thursday, June 29.
Kelce recently shared a teaser video on Twitter to get everyone hyped up for the upcoming event.
“This is the best duo in football vs. the best duo in basketball,” Kelce said.
“Everything that we’ve done, we’ve always tried to be the best,” Mahomes said.
“We’ve all won a championship in our respective sports,” Curry said.
“We just got a ring, we’re on top of the world, baby,” Kelce exclaims.
“We’ll both try to transfer that chemistry onto the golf links,” Thompson said.
There will be trash talk, some decent golf and a whole lot of fun during the course of the event. Mahomes and Kelce just played this past weekend at the 15 and the Mahomies charity golf event in Hawaii, so they’ll be all warmed up and ready for the competition from Curry and Thompson.
