The Seattle Seahawks have found another rising star defensive back in the fifth round. Tariq Woolen, out of the University of Texas at San Antonio, made quarterbacks suffer when they decided to throw in his area last year.
The rookie tied the league-lead with six interceptions last year, four more than Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner. Woolen’s size and speed are certainly reminiscent of another talented Seahawk who played the same position not too long ago.
With this in mind, perhaps it’s time to take a stroll down recent memory lane. The NFL’s twitter account shared a highlight reel of Woolen’s interceptions from last year.

Personally, the pick-6 against Detroit is my favorite of the list.
Fortunately, it won’t take long to see Woolen back in action. Although he recently underwent knee surgery, he is expected to be ready by training camp in July.
