The New England Patriots were struggling for offense on Saturday afternoon against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the defense came to their rescue, as corner Marcus Jones was able to record a pick-six for a touchdown.
The interception gave New England their first points of the game. It was Jones’ second interception of the season and first interception since December 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. The interception added to what was a solid game for Jones, as he had recorded 11 tackles at the time of the turnover.
He was able to give New England some hope, in what has been a day of frustration for the offense.
