Take a sneak peek at the new Ulster University landmark campus set to open to students in September 2022. Built at York Street, it marks one of the biggest university capital investments across the UK and Europe.
The new Belfast campus is part of the most significant regeneration project in Belfast since 1998 and is the most dramatic moment of culture change in university education in the greater Belfast area since the establishment of the Polytechnic in 1973.
The new university buildings will enhance the existing Belfast campus by 75,000m 2 and will host over 15,000 staff and students, which is equivalent to the population of Armagh.

The original business case for the campus put the cost at £254m but the Northern Ireland Audit Office (NIAO) previously said the final cost would be £100m over budget. There have been a number of delays to completion of the campus, which was originally due to open in 2018.
On Monday, Ulster University shared a short video on social media showing off the progress made at the new campus ahead of its official opening next month.
The caption read: "Ulster University is looking forward to welcoming you to its landmark Belfast campus in September ‘22. Check out this sneak peek inside."
