Congratulations are in order for Lions rookie tight end Sam LaPorta. Early in the second quarter of Detroit’s Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, LaPorta hauled in his first career touchdown reception.
LaPorta snuck behind the bewildered Falcons defense and scampered into the end zone after catching a perfect throw from QB Jared Goff.
