That’s how you get past a demoralizing loss.
Ohio State hosted the Tennessee Volunteers in a first-round College Football Playoff matchup on Saturday night in the ‘Shoe and made a huge statement in a dominant 42-17 win.
OSU was a preseason favorite to win the national title but missed on two of its biggest goals: beating Michigan and winning the Big Ten. However, the opportunity to win the national championship is still there.
OSU coach Ryan Day met with the media after the game, and he was more than pleased by what he saw from his team on the banks of the Olentangy on Saturday night.
In case you missed any of what Day said, we have the entire press conference thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube Channel. Watch and listen to what the man wearing the headset said by pushing the play button below. Day discusses his team’s ability to bounce back, the aggressive nature of the game plan and play calling and his team’s execution among other topics.
Ohio State turns the page and prepares to take on Oregon in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1 (5 p.m.). We’ll have plenty leading up to that game as the week and a half or so passes.
