The pads aren’t necessarily popping over at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center just yet, but you can hear whistles, yells, and cheers as Ohio State opened up fall camp on Thursday.
There are a slew of storylines to keep track of and we’ll get into that as we move through the journey from the start of camp through the last few preparations before the game against Notre Dame on Sept. 3.
Media was on hand to observe the first practice on Thursday and snap photos while taking in all the moments of the first time back on the field to ramp up for the season.
After the first fall camp practice, Ryan Day met with reporters to discuss the state of the team and field questions from the firing squad. In case you didn’t catch all of his comments, we’ve got them here for you in their entirety thanks to the Ohio State Buckeyes Facebook page.
Click below and listen to Day discuss key position battles, the improvement of where the defense is, specific position groups, and more.
