While overtime between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics will be remembered by Steph Curry’s dagger 3-pointer in the final seconds, rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis made a clutch play on the defensive end of the floor that’s worthy of a highlight reel.
After an emphatic slam dunk to give the Warriors a four-point lead in overtime, Jackson-Davis impacted defense against the Celtics.
When Celtics wing Jaylen Brown flew to the bucket to throw down a dunk of his own, Golden State’s rookie big man met him at the rim. Jackson-Davis sent away Brown with a powerful block at the rim to deny the Celtics.

Along with three blocks, the former Indiana Hoosier notched his first career double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench.
