Puka Nacua’s day against the Seahawks ended prematurely, but not because of an injury. in the second quarter of Sunday’s game in Seattle, Nacua was ejected by the officials for throwing a punch at a Seahawks defender.
The incident occurred after Matthew Stafford’s interception, which was intended for Nacua deep down the right side of the field. After Riq Woolen picked it off, linebacker Tyrel Dodson shoved Nacua to block him, which the Rams receiver took exception to.
He threw a jab with his right hand, resulting in a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and an ejection. Nacua finished the day with one catch for 11 yards and was targeted four times.
Here’s a look at what happened, leading to Nacua’s ejection from the game.
