A bomb disposal unit were called to a Lanarkshire street to deal with a suspicious package on Tuesday night.
Mansion Court in Cambuslang was cordoned off as cops, the fire service and medical personnel joined the scene.
Officers stressed the cordon was there as a precautionary measure, while a man has since been arrested regarding the incident.
Video footage captured by a local resident flying a drone showed officers standing in the street, while a cordon was established around Bank Street and Main Street.
However locals on the street are not believed to have been asked to move out from their properties while the incident was taking place.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team (EOD) from the army were called to the scene to remove the package
A Police Scotland source told us: “Around 9.20pm on Tuesday (November 15), officers were called to Mansion Court, Cambuslang, where a suspicious package was discovered.
"EOD attended and made the item safe before removing it for examination.
"A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances."
Forensics teams were visible on the street on Wednesday, including looking at a car on the street.
