To say New England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe had an up-and-down day on Sunday would be an understatement. By the midway point in the second quarter, the quarterback already had three interceptions.
With that being said, he was able to score the second Patriots touchdown with his legs. He escaped pressure and ran the football from 17 yards out for a much-needed score. The play was set up nicely by a Zappe pass to running back Kevin Harris for 48 yards.
The drive itself took four plays, 75 yards and 2:52 off the clock. It was Zappe’s first rushing touchdown of the season.

New England is going to have to find inventive ways to score throughout the course of this game. Zappe was able to capitalize on an opportunity this time around.
