WATCH: Patriots coach Jerod Mayo delivers Pro Bowl news to Brenden Schooler

Special teams star Brenden Schooler was the only New England Patriots player who made the AFC Pro Bowl roster on Thursday. The Patriots social media team released a video of coach Jerod Mayo delivering the news to Schooler that he earned his first Pro Bowl nod.

Schooler earned All-Pro honors in 2022, so this isn’t the first time he’s been recognized as one of the best in the game. After personally congratulating Schooler for the accomplishment, Mayo delivered the news in front of the entire team.

“School” chants broke out throughout the room as Patriots players congratulated Schooler for being recognized as one of the best in the NFL at his position.

Moments like these are always fun, especially for a Patriots team that hasn’t had much to celebrate this season. Schooler has had quite the journey, from being an undrafted free agent to becoming a Pro Bowl player for the Patriots.
