After the Los Angeles Rams’ opening drive on offense stalled, they came right back with a touchdown on their second possession of the game against the Arizona Cardinals. On third-and-goal from the 4-yard line, a huge play in the game, Matthew Stafford connected with Odell Beckham Jr. for a touchdown to put the Rams up 7-0 with about four minutes left in the first quarter.
It was a spectacular grab, posterizing the defender with a leaping catch over the top on the fade route. His leaping ability and ball skills were something the Rams lacked before signing him in the middle of the season, and he’s already made a huge impact on this offense thus far.
Beckham is already up to two catches for 21 yards in the first quarter.
