WATCH: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Liverpool Highlights

Premier League leaders Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Tuesday evening, and you can watch the full match highlights below.

Sels Stars As Forest Hold Liverpool To Stalemate

Liverpool travelled to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Tuesday evening, with both sides coming into the tie fresh off the back of victories in the FA Cup third round.

The pair also came into the tie enjoying impressive unbeaten runs in the league, with Forest winning each of their last six matches, while the visiting Reds were unbeaten in 15 since their 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture.

With just six points separating the pair in first and third ahead of the action, it would be Nuno Espirito Santo’s side that struck first. Unsurprisingly, it was that man Chris Wood once again. He slotted home beyond Alisson from Anthony Elanga’s through ball, making it three goals in his last three league games.

There was very little to separate both sides for the remainder of the first period, as the hosts headed into the interval boasting a 1-0 lead over the league leaders.

Arne Slot’s side came out firing in the second period, and it took just 21 minutes for them to find a leveller. It came courtesy of Diogo Jota, immediately after being substituted on, as he headed home from Kostas Tsimikas’ corner.

The Merseyside outfit continued to apply the pressure, accumulating a total of 1.95 xG to Forest’s 0.39, but an inspired performance from Matz Sels kept the scoreline at 1-1. The Belgian made a total of five saves, earning himself the Man of the Match award, denying Jota, Dominik Szoboszlai, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo a winner.
