NFL Films recently released a video that splices together the before and after of a huge third-quarter touchdown that helped change the outcome of the Cincinnati Bengals‘ win over the Arizona Cardinals last weekend.
In the clip, which narrates that 60-plus-yard touchdown from Joe Burrow to Ja’Marr Chase, the former can be heard saying the following: “We saw something at halftime that we really liked.”
That’s an understatement given the touchdown connection that was one of the best of Burrow’s career and blew the game open. As explained by Zac Taylor and others, it was a Cover-2 cloud they knew they could beat by bringing Chase across the field and deep.
