What an incredible Cinderella story for Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner, the New York Jets standout who not only is a cover cornerback but can cover some serious yardage off the tee.
Gardner put a lot of golfers to shame with his video posted over the weekend in which he showed off a new-look swing. Put in another 10 years in the NFL, win a Super Bowl or two with the Jets and then off to play LIV Golf?
Sounds feasible.
Gardner, set to enter his third year in the NFL, certainly is surrounded by some pretty serious expectations around the Jets. He has two All-Pro selections in his first two years in the league.
And at the rate he is keeping up with things on the golf course, it would seem like a green jacket isn’t too far behind.
