It is not just Bill Russell among Boston Celtics alumni getting some love from popular online streaming outlet and production company Netflix — former Celtics forward Juancho Hernangomez‘ new film “Hustle” with iconic comedian and actor Adam Sandler is coming out soon, with Netflix having released a teaser trailer of the finished work to whet your appetite for another basketball-oriented film in which Sandler has a prominent role.
Sandler, who has integrated his favorite sport into several films — including alongside ANOTHER Celtics alumnus in one Kevin Garnett for the film “Uncut Gems” — stars as a scout who sees an NBA player in an overseas prospect played by Hernangomez in the film.
While things might not have worked out for the Spaniard in Boston this season, his acting chops look pretty solid, and we will be checking out this movie upon its release on Netflix soon, debuting on June 10, 2022.
