The Spartans once again made costly mistakes and were outmatched by a better team on Saturday night.
Michigan State made a few critical mistakes in the first half and fell in a hole they couldn’t overcome in a blowout loss to Ohio State. The final score was 38-7, but the game felt closer than that for most of the game.
With the loss, Michigan State drops to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in Big Ten play. The Spartans have now lost two straight games.
Michigan State will look to regroup in a tough test next week against top 10 Oregon.
