This season, the Golden State Warriors have been buoyed by the developmental improvements from some of their younger stars. Both Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody look vastly improved from the players we saw last season. Furthermore, the immediate impact of rookies Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis have both been encouraging, too.
During the Warriors’ loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday (Dec. 28) Moody once again displayed some of his improvements on the defensive end. The third-year guard held his own when guarding Tyler Herro while also dropping 11 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and swatting away two shots.
Moody’s defense of Herro had some highlight moments, one of which has begun to circle social media due to the effort and skill the 21-year-old displayed during the possession.
