An inspiring new documentary video from Patagonia has just been released to watch online. Monte: Can't Stop. Won't Stop follows the story of Monte Cosby, a young man from the housing projects of Richmond, Virginia East End, who discovers a love for all things cycling – mountain biking in particular. His obsession for all things pedal powered takes him on a different path to his peers and helps him make the most of the hand that life has dealt him in a part of America where opportunities are limited.

“Biking was probably the hardest thing to get myself into.” says Monte. “I might hate it when I start, but I love it when I finish.”
After overcoming his own struggles on and off the bike, Monte wants to help others from similar backgrounds to do the same.
“I want to lead those expeditions. I want to provide that to those that don’t have accessibility,” says Monte. “Making these places feel safe, especially for black people, that’s my goal.”
