The Miami Dolphins went into MetLife Stadium for the league’s first Black Friday game and walked out with a divisional win over the New York Jets, 34-13.
Miami was strong defensively, and they committed to the run game, which allowed them to control the game.
After the game clock expired, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel spoke to his team in the locker room and explained that this victory was different than others that they’ve secured in his tenure.

The result was bittersweet, as the potential loss of linebacker Jaelan Phillips looms, but in Miami, they know, maybe more than anyone this year, that it’s next man up.
