The Miami Dolphins went into FedEx Field on Sunday and put a beatdown on the Washington Commanders 45-15 to improve to 9-3 to start the season.
After the final whistle blew, the Dolphins returned to the visitors’ locker room, where head coach Mike McDaniel and defensive lineman Christian Wilkins spoke to the team.
McDaniel spoke about just how proud he is of this group and how different the first game after being 8-3 feels this year compared to last year. Wilkins talked about the effort that they gave and that they don’t want to take their foot off the gas any time soon.
As of Monday morning, the Dolphins are currently the top seed in the AFC, and taking care of business like they did on Sunday is a good part of the reason why.
