Michael Hoecht has taken on a starting role for the Rams in recent weeks, transitioning from defensive tackle to outside linebacker after Justin Hollins was released. For the most part, he’s done a nice job at his new position, particularly as a pass rusher on the right side of the defense.
Fans are getting to know him better as he plays more snaps for Los Angeles, and his personality is infectious. The Rams had him mic’d up against the Packers in Monday night’s game and Hoecht had a couple of funny exchanges with Greg Gaines and Leonard Floyd.
